
Mexican style burgers

1 lb 454 g lb Quebec ground turkey ()
⅓ cup (80 ml) cup unseasoned breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp (15 ml) tbsp Mexican seasonings cumin, coriander, Cayenne, oregano
1 tbsp (15 ml) tbsp vegetable oil sunflower, etc.
2 ripe avocados
1 lime, juiced
¼ cup (60 ml) cup coriander, chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 burgers buns
Garnishes, to taste: cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce, jalapeño slices, marinated onions, etc.

Directions
1In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg and Mexican seasonings. Shape into 4 patties and set aside in the fridge.
2Preheat BBQ to high heat. Brush, clean and oil the grills. Brush patties with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Grill the patties for about 4 to 6 minutes per side, or until meat reaches 165 °F (74 °C). Set aside on a plate, cover with aluminum foil and rest for about 5 minutes.
3In the meantime, using a food processor, purée the avocado, lime juice and coriander. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
4Toast the burger buns for 1 to 2 minutes.
5Spread avocado sauce on toasted face of buns. Top with burger and garnish to taste. Serve immediately.
